57.32 Billion Rupiah for Traditional Villages

A total 57.32 billion rupiah grant will be awarded to 1,433 traditional villages all over Bali, each village will receive 40 million rupiah (± $ 4200). This grant will awarded every year by the provincial government of Bali. The grant will be awarded to the representative of each village this month at Besakih temple. This grant is a part of Bali Government project to preserve the traditional village system in accordance with “Bali Stand Strong” concept.

A total 35.1 billion grant is also awarded to 2,345 subak (traditional farmer association) all over Bali with a hope to help the preservation of Subak irrigation system.
