29th Bali Art festival was officially opened by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, accompanied by Bali Governor Dewa Beratha, with striking of the wooden drum on Saturday, 6/16/2007 in Bajra Sandhi Monument, Renon, Denpasar. Traditional music and dance performance by Balinese artist followed the sound of the drum.

The opening of annual Bali Art Festival was featured with a parade of traditional art troupe from all regencies of Bali, Indonesia’s provinces such as Jakarta, West Sumatra, Riau, Lampung and South Sulawesi, art troupes from China and Japan were also join the parade.

On the occasion, President Yudhoyono also officially launched a new brand of Bali’s tourist promotion.
