High waves, rapid current, and stormy weather are the culprits behind the accident that befell on the diving boat that carried five Russian divers on Toyapakeh beach, Nusa Penida. Fortunately, all the boat crews and passengers survive. The high wave hit and broke the fiberglass boat at 2 PM, 1/6/2006. The divers and the boat’s crew threw themselves to the water. Luckily, they are rescued by the fishermen who sailed around the unfortunate boat. No injury inflicted to the divers and the boat’s crews.
